Aoyama Ginza Harajuku Ikebukuro Shibuya Shinjuku Main Page Visions-N-Vogue

TokyoGirl okyo's world-class, renowned Ginza district, a fashion and shopping Mecca for the international fashionistas. Housing some of Tokyo's super department stores: Mitsukoshi, Matsuya Matsuzakaya and Shiseido, the cosmetic giant.
Shopping blocks stretch for miles in the Ginza and this is one of the many attractions of the area that attracts many visitors to Japan.

Gorgeous Ginza Glamour Gal

Prime department stores line Chuo Dori Avenue, while cross streets are chock-a-block with restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and galleries. After sunset, brilliant neon signs flash the way to a myriad of night Spots.

Yonchome, the main artery to the Ginza as the crossing corner highlighted by the landmark clock tower of the Wacko Store, Mitsukoshi department store and then the circular San'ai Building. A course on other streets you will find the international big fashion names of Gucci and Vuitton. The fashion of art is available in the off main street venues where you can enjoy an eclectic mix of art galleries. There is plenty for both the modest shopper as well and adventurous tourist. Life after dark comes alive even more with hostess, karaoke or jazz.

The Sony Building with an exhibit of its past, current and futuristic designs is a must to see. My first visit to the building was to meet a friend at a chic Internet coffee café on the top floor overlooking the neon-intense skyline of the Ginza.

As for Ginza bar scene -take a look at the best that the Ginza offers.
