Aoyama
- The streets of Omotessando and Aoyama houses this area's most fashionable shops, lovely open-terrace cafˇs and hip beauty salons. You can take in the the many splendors while strolling these main streets of this fabulous shopping district. Within the back alleys, view the activities of the local residents. Enjoy haute-couture window shopping with stops at lovely street cafes. Brand conscious? you will love the sights of the new
Louis Vuitton Omotesando and the Esquisse Omotesando complex. Dozens of brand names like
Chanel and Gucci.
Omotesando
- Arguably Tokyo's most chic neighborhood, Omotesando is lined with trees and packed with an eclectic mix of Tokyo's fashion elite. This long stretch of upscale eateries, cafes, bars and fashion boutiques reminiscent of
Las Ramblas in Barcelona creates such a favorable impression that it alone often convinces foreign visitors that Tokyo is a beautiful, well-kept metropolis. However, remarkable as this street is, it is, unfortunately, the exception. To best take advantage of this brilliant atmosphere, your best bet is to grab a drink at one of the many open-air alcohol-serving establishments on a sunny weekend afternoon and observe the diverse passerby's.
Roppongi- Roppongi is Viewed as dangerous, sleazy, unkempt, and noisy, infested with foreigners and atypically extroverted, crazy Japanese who simply can't adhere to the strict codes of conduct that most abide by (ir)religiously. Thank God its all true. I hear. The center of foreign play time in Tokyo, Roppongi is home to the highest concentration of cool bars in the city. If you have any inclination of pulling an all night drink-a-thon, this is the premier location. Unlike in the States, where popular bars are often easy to spot, Roppongi's fabulous little watering holes are tucked away, often hidden from the normal passerby. It's therefore essential to know the name and approximate location of your destination bar. So, before venturing off into Tokyo's notorious midnight dungeons, take a look at some of Roppongi's best bars

The legendary Roppongi district is Tokyo's international playground - the traditional party place of Tokyo's expatriate tribes, from icy European models, through bullet-headed American marines, to Brazilian cocktail waiters and ferociously slinky, miniskirted Japanese girls.
