Situated in the sandhills along the seaside this course was designed in 1923 by Laurie Waters (Father of South African golf). It sports narrow fairways,lined with many mature trees (monkey- filled), elevated tees, and many sand bunkers amidst the thick br ush. The winds from the Indian Ocean are a constant problem. This course has hosted many National championships.
